Abstract

Ethnobotany was created in order to comprehend the connections between local flora and indigenous communities in remote, usually uninhabited areas. The consumption, management and valuation of plants are central aspects of the traditional knowledge in many rural and tribal populations. Among the potential uses of plants, those related to medicine and foods have central importance because they are essential to rural and tribal peoples. So, in this article significance and utility of ethnobotanical practice in rural and tribal peoples has been discussed.
