This paperwill attempt to highlight how Mulk Raj Anand has tried to exposed social injustice which was in practice in the Indian society and its culture. Although he wrote in a foreign language, yet his themes and concerns remain chiefly Indian. Anand experimented with language, stylistic techniques and in subjects as well. Mulk Raj Anand was the most prolific of all Indian writers of his age and had created a lasting impact in literary not because of his personality but of his intellect and aesthetic qualities. Even though he was born in a Hindu family, he never hesitated to expose how poor and downtrodden people are suppressed and treated badly in the society. This paper states a hope both for the untouchables and other Indians to raise consciousness with the purpose of removing caste system and hierarchal system of Indian culture. This study also shows Mulk Raj Anand’s success in his intention of exposing social injustice.
