Abstract
Present study focuses on Role of NABARD in Economic Development- A Study of Madhya Pradesh. The current study attempts to determine the impact of schemes and policies of NABARD for economic development of Madhya Pradesh. The present study is descriptive in nature and primarly based on secondary data. For the purposes of analysis, the study has been conducted using NABARD’s Annual Report from 2014-15 to 2019-20. In the research area, NABARD’s schemes and policies has shown positive growth rate between the stated time periods. Results also indicate that in the research area, over the course of 4 years/months investment grew from 315621.0 to 472827.0. Its compound annual growth rate (CAGR) is 10.63 %. This indicates an Average Compound Annual Growth rate impact of schemes and policies of NABARD for Economic Development to be 10.63 percent during 2015-16 to 2019-20. Impact of schemes and policies of NABARD for economic development had shown growth from 315621.0 to 472827.0 at constant price in last 5 years. Our present study, reveals the increase in the economic development in all aspects of our state Madhya Pradesh along with the whole nation.
