Abstract

Green chemistry, also knownn as sustainable chemistry, refers to the developmentt of chemical products and processess that decrease or eliminate the usage and mmanufacture of hazardous chemicalss. They only employ chemicals and chemicall processes that do not have any harmfull environmental repercussions. It is built on a sett of twelve principles that may be utilizedd to construct or recreate molecules from scratch. Materialss, reactions, and proceduress that are less harmful to humanss and the environment. Green cChemistry methods have been createdd in nearly every field of chemistryy to date, including organic, inorganicc, biochemistry, polymer, toxicologicall, environmental, physical, and technologyy chemistry. Catalysis, biocatalysiss, and the utilization of alternative: renewablee feedstocks are some of the currentt developments in the green programm (biomassThe twin aims of environmentall protection and economicc advantage can be realized via novell synthetic routes (photocatalytic reactionn), reaction mediums (water, ionicc liquids, and supercritical fluids), reactionn conditions (microwave irradiation), and reaction conditions (microwave irradiation).
