Published 2021-08-18

Abstract

In today’s environment, businesses have come to see how critical it is to have the right people in the right positions on a larger scale. Even the best hardware isn't enough to guarantee success if they don't have the right people to execute the job. Each person has their own set of values, which when coupled with the values of other people form organisational value. Every organisation has something unique about how it operates. It is this uniqueness that each other organisation uses as a refining check in portraying itself. Hierarchical culture refers to how an organisation functions in relation to its beliefs, values, and assumptions. The execution of the individuals who work in an organisation, and by extension, the organization's execution, is heavily influenced by the culture of that organisation. The purpose of this article is to review the research articles on the impact of organisational values on organizational culture. From the existing literature, it is found that organisations may focus on those characteristics of their societies that are positive in nature and produce the most significant positive results in terms of organisational outcomes.
