Advancements in Applications and Novel Methods Used for Preparing the Phosphors

Abstract

Phosphors are luminescent materials that emit light when excited by external energy sources. They find widespread applications in various fields, including lighting, displays, sensors, biomedical imaging, and energy conversion. The development of novel methods for preparing phosphors is essential to enhance their performance, improve their properties, and expand their range of applications. Preparation techniques for luminous materials include solid state reaction, wet chemical, precipitation and co-precipitation, combustion, simple chemical route, sol gel method, molten salt synthesis, etc., all of which are being researched to develop more sophisticated and intelligent materials.
