Overview on Semiconductors with Special Reference to Dilute Magnetic II-VI Semiconductors

Abstract

A lot of research work has been focused on transition metals (Fe, Ni, Co, Mn etc.) doped II-VI group semiconductor materials such as ZnO, CdTe, ZnSe, CdS and CdSe due to their multi-functionality in optico magnetic applications. In this article, overview on semiconductors with special reference to dilute magnetic II-VI semiconductors has been highlighted.
