Analytical Study on Performance of MIMO-OFDM over Wireless Channels

Published 2022-12-22

Abstract

An examination of the performance of an OFDM-MIMO system over wireless channels is presented in this research. Multiple-input multiple-output (MIMO) wireless technology and orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) are combined in MIMO-OFDM technology, which has been hailed as one of the most encouraging ways to deal with help high information rates and extraordinary execution in different channel conditions. The proposed study focuses on methods that enhance (Multiple OFDM's Input Multiple Output Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing) performance in wireless communications for both commercial and military purposes. For contemporary wireless communication networks, the MIMO-OFDM system mix has arisen as a promising technology for fast information transmission and powerful channel range use. Future wireless communication systems must provide mobility and high-quality Internet and multimedia services.

In this review, we recommend a method for a symmetrical recurrence division multiplexing system with different data sources and various results that is block coded for reality. This system is intended to boost capacity range and wireless communication system reliability while achieving high data rates without expanding the channel's bandwidth. In a MIMO-OFDM system with two send and quite a few get recieving wires, the proposed technique is utilized to keep up with the symmetry of the wireless channel. The employment of ML and MMSE equalisers at the receiver end together with orthogonality, which keeps the channels from correlating, all contribute to improved performance. As a result, interference between data conveyed across wireless channels is avoided. Which is assessed by simulation.
