Published 2021-09-28

Abstract

Saudi Arabia has digitized e-government procedures that can be easily used by residents The objective of the study is to evaluate the experience of using the Najm mobile government application -from Technology Acceptance Model. Najm is an application that facilitates reporting of traffic accidents by automatically sending an accident report to the respective insurance company. For this purpose, a mixed-method study was conducted to determine beneficiaries' opinions regarding the ease of use, usefulness, satisfaction and quantity- of accidents with the Najm application. The results showed that citizens disagreed with the ease of use, usefulness, and sati sfaction with the Najm application and did not cover their tasks in handling accident claims with the Najm application. This shows that citizens do not have the necessary knowledge to use the application. So, the Saudi government should make arrangements to implement better services to ensure the desired use of e-government services by citizens, especially the Najm applications.
