Effects of Some Flavonoid Compounds on the Activity of Antioxidant Enzymes of Rat Liver Mitochondria Poisoned by Galoxypop-R- Methyl and Indoxacarb

Published 2021-09-20

Abstract

In this study, the effects of sophoraflavonolonoside and narcissine glycoside flavonoids on the activity of antioxidant enzymes superoxide dismutase and catalase in the liver mitochondria of rats poisoned with pesticides haloxyphop-R-methyl and indoxacarb were studied for 10, 20, 30 and 40 days. The experimental group was administered rats with a special probe in a dose of 1/10 dose of haloxyphop-R-methyl pesticide LD50 and 1/10 dose of indoxacarb pesticide LD50. In experiments, the effect of soforaflavonolonoside and narcissine on the activity of antioxidant enzymes of the liver mitochondria superoxide dismutase and catalase in 10-40 days was determined. Selected plant flavonoids soforaflavonolonoside and narcissine glycoside resulted in some recovery of SOD and catalase enzyme activity by 30 and 40 days.
