Indian Politics: Political Development in India and Impact at National level

Abstract

Since the mid-1960s, the Indian polity has undergone two major transformations. Competition and conflict among interest groups have intensified. Some of the world's brightest minds have begun to consider the COVID-19 pandemic's far-reaching consequences. While there is widespread agreement that the pandemic would have a devastating effect on the global economy and disrupt the international order, there is less agreement on the type of politics that the epidemic will generate. The situation in India is extremely different. an examination of different Acts, rules, notices, social media behaviour, media depictions, and reports are all examples of legal documents , relevant in the process of pandemic policy-communication, particularly When proclaiming and extending lockdowns, the Prime Minister delivers nationally publicised speeches replete with emotive appeals and policy-propaganda. Indian Government has various initiatives in current year  such as –

The Ministry of Consumer Affairs, Food, and Public Distribution is in charge of administering the programme the Indian food security system, that provides underprivileged Indians with Food and non-food items are subsidised. The most current attempt to overhaul higher education is the National Education Policy 2020, Agricultural reforms to improve supply-side issues, such as subsidy rationalisation, land reforms, technology adoption, institutional and governance strengthening, and rural infrastructure improvement etc. We've found a few ways developed by the Indian government that could be improved.
